Schedule: PRN / As needed shifts
Shift : Days
Location: AdventHealth Family Resident Medical Center LaGrange
The role youll contribute:
Assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a provider (Physician, Resident, or Advanced Practice Provider).

The value youll bring to the team:
Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse.
Performs select clinical duties. Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing. Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment. Qualifications
The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
High school diploma or GED required. BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Previous experience with chart abstracting is highly preferred PREFERRED Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Healthcare Association (NHA) or American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) also accepted. The salary range reflects the anticipated base pay range for this position.
Individual compensation is determined based on skills, experience and other relevant factors within this pay range.
The minimums and maximums for each position may vary based on geographical location.
