Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals in an office setting. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with medical procedures, providing patient care, and offering administrative support.Duties:- Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures, including taking patient vitals, collecting specimens, and administering medications.- Provide direct patient care including various office based procedures.- Perform basic laboratory tests and record results accurately.- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits and ensure cleanliness and organization.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health record systems.- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and professional work environment.Skills:- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques.- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing electronic health records, and handling billing processes.- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other staff members.- Familiarity with medical office operations and the ability to navigate through various referrals and departments.Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.- Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly desirable.- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.- Must have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals as a Medical Assistant.
