In this role you will provide leadership and oversight to assigned group of medical assistants.
Expectations include performing the responsibilities of a Medical Assistant as well as those appropriately delegated by the professional nursing staff and/or site director.

Collaborates with providers and nurses in the delivery of patient care.Provides direct patient care that is typical and within the scope of a medical assistant.Assigns and monitors duties and responsibilities of Medical Assistants.
Fairly balances staff and clinic needs.Performs regular scheduled performance evaluations and 1:1 meetings with Medical Assistants.Partners with HCO Director on crucial conversations with their teamParticipates in the development and implementation of individual, group and community education programs.QualificationsEducationHigh School Diploma required.Two or more years' experience as an MA required.Successful completion of Medical Assistant program requiredAt least one year of MA experience at Erie highly preferredCertified or Registered by accredited agency preferred.Skills and KnowledgeBilingual (Spanish) dependent on site and the patients served on that site.
(May be required to communicate with and assist non-English/Spanish only speaking patients and/or guests.)
