We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistants that have worked in a Dermatology office to join our client's healthcare team.
The ideal candidates will play a vital role in supporting their medical staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Hours: Mon-Fri 8a-5p , 1 half day Saturday per month (8am-noon)

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
MUST be able to function in a busy/fast paced environment

Administer medications as directed by physicians and ensure proper documentation.
Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
Coordinate with various departments within the hospital or clinic systems.
Qualifications

Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred in Dermatology.
Knowledge of dermatology practices is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medication administration protocols and patient care standards.
Strong understanding of human physiology and medical terminology.
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations typical of hospital settings.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications are a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service excellence.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
