Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will provide essential support to healthcare professionals, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations. This position requires a strong background in patient service and medical administrative support.Responsibilities:- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals- Assist with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, and follow-up care- Assist with medical coding and billing processes- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient clinic operationsRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a hospital or urgent care setting is highly desirable- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and basic patient care procedures- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements accurately- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff- Familiarity with medical coding processes is a plus- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as neededPlease note that all positions at our facility are paid positions.
