Job Title: Medical Assistant PRN (******** )
Location: Wythe County Physician Practice, Virginia-Wytheville
Reports to: Director of Physician Practices
Description: Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned office or clinic.
Qualifications: Minimum Education: Athena and Meditech experience preferred; required knowledge of computers, telephones, copy and fax machines.Demonstrate knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits, and healthcare backgrounds.Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Licensure/Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of date of hire.Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant.Valid driver's license and use of a vehicle for on-the-job duties.Schedule:
