This position requires a strong understanding of medical billing procedures, exceptional analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and other teams. Responsibilities will have oversight of monthly preparation of invoices, utilization of medical billing software, and reporting functions tracking performance. Essential Job FunctionsThe Medical Billing Analyst is responsible for optimizing the healthcare revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate billing, timely claims submission, efficient payment collection, and effective management of patient accounts. This position plays a vital role in billing and coding, claim management, and compliance and reporting. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Complete patient registration and reporting for claim managementPerform accurate billing and coding processesWork directly with customer clearing house and billing companiesPayment posting and reconciliation to maintain accurate records and financial transactionsProduce accurate customer invoicesReporting and analysisCompliance and regulationsPerforms other related duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsExperience navigating Microsoft Excel1+ years of experience in medical billing or related fieldDetail-oriented mindset, including ability to closely follow directionsExceptional self-management ability, including appropriately scheduling repetitive processes and effectively addressing items in a dynamic work environmentAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamProfessional in appearance and behaviorWorking ConditionsThis job operates in a corporate office setting.
