Position Details: Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Pay Rate: $18-22/hr (based on experience) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Responsibilities: Submit and process medical claims across systems efficiently. Handle billing collections and manage follow-ups on outstanding accounts. Resolve insurance denials and address underpayments promptly. Verify health insurance benefits and ensure claims accuracy. Maintain accurate documentation and complete data entry efficiently. Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in healthcare billing. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with EMR systems (Epic, Navinet) is a plus. Knowledge: Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes is advantageous.
