Med Clinic Supervisor/Medical Assisted Treatment (MAT) RNOnPoint is seeking an energetic, organized, committed professional to fill the position of full-time Medical Clinic Supervisor/MAT RN. In this position you will oversee day-to-day operations of our clinic, in accordance with funding, regulatory, agency and best practice standards. This position will be responsible for providing leadership, professional nursing services, and assigned clinical treatment activities for OnPoint's Medication Clinic and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.
PAY RANGE/BENEFIT PACKAGE:Salary: $60,844 - $83,965 annually - placement above minimum salary is based on experience.
OnPoint Benefits:401(a) retirement: employer matching457 retirementPaid holidaysBenefits effective date of hire: Medical insuranceDental insuranceVision CoverageEmployer funding of Health Savings Account (up to elected deductible amount)Employer Paid benefits: Disability insuranceLife insurance (up to $50,000)Paid Time OffQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) required.Fully Licensed in the State of Michigan (LARA) required.At least three years of nursing experience with people diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, and substance use disorders, with a minimum of 1 year as a supervisor required.Strong knowledge of psychopathology, mental health and substance use diagnostics and medications required.Experience working within integrated healthcare system preferred.Experience working in SUD as a clinical nurse preferred.Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/co-occurring disorders/substance use disorders valued.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care needs.Work with youth and adults with mental illnesses, intellectual and developmental disabilities, families and substance use disorders to help them succeed.Perform medication injections, RN medication reviews, health screenings, nursing assessments, health appraisals, and assist with community partners nursing needs.Provide ongoing education, and support of patients in all phases of treatment including nursing visits scheduled and random, toxicology screens, labs, medication teaching, monitoring, pill counts, observed dosing, medication refills and carrying a patient caseload.Provide mental health and substance use assessment, intervention and case management consistent with the OnPoint and MDCH policies, the laws of the State of Michigan, and the ethical standards of the respective profession.Maintain a close working relationship with supervised staff to promote informed discussions about employee behaviors and performance professionally and supportively. This position will supervise our medical assistants, administrative professional and the care coordinator.Ensure departmental compliance with all medical regulations and documentation standards and policies.Provide clinical leadership and successful execution of day-to-day operations for OnPoint's Psychiatric Medication Clinic and outpatient MAT services.Participate in program development efforts at the direction of the Program Manager.Cover for clinic staff absences, if needed.Perform other duties as assigned.EQUIPMENT/TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE:Efficient in Microsoft Office 365Electronic Medical Records (EMR's).POSITIONS TO BE FILLED:One full-time position (40 hours/week)
