We are looking for a strong Medical Coding Analyst to join a dynamic team for a major long term project.
This project will be based in Detroit and team is coming to the office once a week.. We know this client well and will be an amazing opportunity for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for reviewing and researching new code changes that are released by the Coding Authorities (AMA, CMS) for system implementation for PPO and HMO Commercial BusinessQUALIFICATIONS: Preferences: Ability to analyze, investigate and organize ideas in defining and formulating solutions to mapping activities and other applicable areasProficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems (e.g.
Word, Excel and Microsoft Office)Ability to work independently, within a team environment and handle multiple prioritiesGreat oral and written communication skillsOther related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.Must be knowledgeable in use of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS code booksRHIT or RHIA with specialty certification of CCS, CCS-P preferredWorks collaboratively with Physicians and other team membersKnowledge of PPO and HMO claim systems and benefits a plusEducation/Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree in related fieldExperience working with Our Client's benefits and/or claims preferredPrevious experience working with NASCO, MOS and/or BCU systems preferred OpTech is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
