Join Our Team at Garden Oaks Veterinary Center! Founded in April 2015, Garden Oaks Veterinary Center is approaching its tenth anniversary, and due to our continued success, we are excited to announce that we are expanding! We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, leadership-driven Lead DVM (Medical Director) to join our team of four doctors as we transition from a 2,300-square-foot facility to a new, 5,500-square-foot hospital center. This is a fantastic opportunity for a doctor looking to advance their career and help foster a positive, dedicated culture committed to exceptional veterinary care.
We Are Expanding! New Space : Our hospital will expand to 5,500 square feet by October 24, 2024. New Name : We are rebranding as Garden Oaks Veterinary Center from Garden Oaks Veterinary Clinic to align with our expansion. Facility Features : A double surgical suite with laminar flow air and dedicated A/C for surgeries. A separate dental area equipped with a dental table and Dentalaire equipment. Digital X-ray capabilities in the dental area, with the potential for a second dental table as we grow. An ultrasound machine, in-house lab, cold laser, and digital radiographs. A separate, secure entry for comfort (end-of-life) cases, allowing clients to handle all billing discreetly. A full GP hospital for dogs and cats, with a dedicated feline-only entrance and two feline exam rooms. Eight exam rooms, equipped with laptops. What Makes Our Hospital Unique: AAHA Accredited : Our commitment to high standards is recognized by the American Animal Hospital Association. Loyal Client Base : We have built a dedicated clientele over the past ten years. Collaborative Team : A four-doctor practice that promotes teamwork. New Facilities : Enjoy a brand-new 5,500-square-foot hospital. Feline Focus : We have a dedicated feline ward and entrance. Mentorship Opportunities : We host externs and interns to provide strong mentorship for new graduates. Work-Life Balance : No on-call duties and we're closed on Sundays. Efficient Staffing : An average doctor-to-technician ratio of 1:1, plus dedicated technicians for drop-off appointments and surgeries. Surgical Expertise : Two board-certified doctors are available for orthopedic and soft-tissue surgeries, including amputations. Surgery Days : Monday through Thursday.
