The OpportunityAs we continue to expand and transform the primary care experience, we're looking for energetic and passionate leaders to manage the people, processes and technology that make One Medical unique.
We are seeking an experienced family medicine primary care provider to serve as the Medical Director for our growing primary care practice in Cleveland.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, comprehensive primary care to a panel of patients, while also taking on leadership responsibilities to support clinician and patient recruitment, onboarding, and team development.

Employment type:Full timeWhat you'll be working on:Manage a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits at least 32 hours a weekPromote awareness of One Medical's clinical services and presence in Northeast Ohio, particularly among the clinical community of Northeast Ohio; participate in local marketing eventsPartner with Office Manager to support a collaborative, positive office communityHelp shape the training and development of the growing primary care team, including providing guidance and support to new providers joining the teamCollaborate with the Cleveland Clinic health system on clinical integration, quality and value improvement, sharing best practices, and provider developmentOwn specific office management and HR functionsTreat patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visitsContinuously learn during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalitiesCollaborate with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teamsSupervise NP or PA colleaguesEducation, licenses, and experiences required for this role:Completed an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine MD or DO residency programPracticed the last 3 years in an outpatient primary care setting with a track record of strong patient outcomes and engagementMinimum 1 year of direct leadership experienceBoard certified in Family MedicineState licensed in OhioOne Medical Patient Engagement Lead also demonstrates:A passion for human-centered primary careClinical proficiency in evidence-based primary careCommitment to the mission of improving access to high-quality primary care in the Cleveland communityA passion to serve as a mentor and role model for other primary care providers in building meaningful patient relationshipsThe ability to build longitudinal relationships with patients to ensure continuity of care and maximize health outcomesThe ability to establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results including holding self and others accountable to meet commitmentsThe ability to address difficult issues and support others who do the sameThe ability to build teams with an appropriate and diverse mix of styles, perspectives, and experience that will apply their skills and perspectives to achieve common goalsThe ability to create a climate in which people are motivated to do their best by inviting input and sharing ownership and visibilityThe ability to engage with clinical peers and community members to promote the One Medical brand and build a membership base.One Medical is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage qualified applicants of every background, ability, and life experience to contact us about appropriate employment opportunities.
