TeamHealth is hiring for a full-time medical director role which includes patient care rounding (Monday through Friday) and medical director duties in a skilled nursing facility located in the Seaford/Millsboro, Delaware, area.
Job Duties:Primary care rounding in skilled nursing facilities (SNF)Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of careCollaborate with clinicians, facility leaders and others regarding care and servicesBuild relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment deliveryMedical director duties for assigned facilityProvide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our cliniciansConduct clinical case reviews, as needed and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of careRepresent TeamHealth on appropriate external levels engaging and establishing/maintaining relationships within the post-acute care communityCollaborate with leadership to review care coordination initiatives, develop collaborative intervention plans, and share ideas about network management issuesQualifications:1+ years experience in primary care requiredPost-acute care experience a plus, but not requiredLeadership background a plus, but not required; training will be providedActive and unrestricted Delaware licenseActive and unrestricted Delaware DEAEstimated compensation range is $220,570 to $281,578 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
