Medical Director - Primary Care We are excited to offer the role of Medical Director for Primary Care Services in the vibrant community of Brooklyn, NY.

As the Medical Director, you will lead the strategic, clinical, and operational initiatives of our primary care services.
This role provides a valuable opportunity to impact patient care delivery and improve health systems in a supportive and growing healthcare organization.
Salary: $300,000 - $330,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Direct and manage the clinical operations of primary care services ensuring outstanding patient-centered care.Lead a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and additional medical staff to ensure effective teamwork and high standards of care.Use evidence-based practices and data analysis to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.Develop and refine clinical procedures and protocols to align with current medical standards and best practices.Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and liaise with stakeholders to resolve any compliance issues.Offer mentorship and professional growth opportunities to medical staff to foster a robust healthcare delivery team.Engage in strategic planning, budgeting, and general operational decisions to promote organizational expansion.Promote innovative healthcare delivery models focusing on value-based care and chronic disease management.Facilitate effective communication between the clinical teams and executive leadership, ensuring transparency and advocacy for frontline personnel.Ensure all medical staff credentials and compliances are continuously maintained, especially concerning Medicare and other regulatory bodies.Minimum Position Qualifications: Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics.Must possess a New York State medical license and be eligible to serve Medicare participants.A minimum of 5 years of experience in primary care practice.At least 2 years in a medical directorship or similar leadership role within a healthcare setting.Proven background in managing healthcare operations guided by data analysis and quality improvement measures.Preferred Qualifications: Experience in developing and implementing innovative healthcare models and clinical services.Proficient in managing and leading cross-functional clinical teams.Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and healthcare facility management.Skills: Exceptional leadership and communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Expertise in regulatory compliance and healthcare accreditation standards.Skill in mentoring and professional development of staff.Capability to perform under pressure and manage complex clinical situations.Benefits: Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives up to $82,500.Generous time off policy including 17 days of PTO, 12 observed holidays, and additional sick time.Comprehensive continuing medical education support with paid time away for professional development.Robust retirement plans with employer matching.Equity grants providing significant long-term financial growth.Extensive health benefits covering medical, dental, and vision plans.Malpractice and tail insurance coverage.
