Details of the offer

The Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) department at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine focuses on providing a rigorous and innovative curriculum for medical students. The program aims to develop physicians who are well-prepared to address the healthcare needs of diverse and underserved communities. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on clinical experience, and community engagement, UME fosters critical thinking, professionalism, and cultural competence. The department also emphasizes mentorship and personal development, helping students transition into successful medical professionals who prioritize primary care and community service.

The incumbent will apply acquired skills, processes, and policy knowledge to support professional health education program learners. They will coordinate program operations, which include teaching and learning activities, program curriculum, learner scheduling, maintaining databases, tracking learner compliance, and program accreditation.

Please note: this is a limited-term, full-time employment opportunity, not to exceed 1,000 work hours. The assignment will conclude on 6/30/25, or once 1,000 hours have been worked, whichever comes first. The hours per week will range from 20 - 40, depending on department needs. The schedule is fully on-site; remote work is not an option.
