We are currently seeking a full-time Insurance Verification Specialist to join our exceptional team in Manasquan, NJ.
The ideal candidate will combine an engaging personality with an ability to maintain organization in a busy environment.
This customer-oriented individual will also be able to meet the following job description and possess the following skills requirements.
An extensive training program will ensure proficiency prior to independent work.


Duties and Responsibilities -
•Achieve daily productivity set forth by management
•Review initial benefits, re-verification of benefits, and questions/clarification on benefits
•Comply with company standards and policies and procedures
•Complete weekly denial reports
•Contact Insurance companies to obtain patient outpatient physical therapy benefits
•Review benefits for determination of patient responsibility
•Contact patients to discuss responsibility
•Document and record all correspondences with insurance company and patients within appropriate systems
•Communicate effectively with facilities and/or billing department as needed
•Promote and adhere to HIPAA compliance
•Manage workflow via Service Now application as set forth by management
•Communicate and follow up in timely manner in areas of concern with management
•Complete verification process in a timely manner

Qualifications and skills - Knowledge of healthcare industry and the trends Ability to gather and use data effectively Strong analytical thinking Excellent organizational, and problem-solving skills Detail oriented and timely delivery of insurance verification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple assignments and issues at a time Knowledge of latest insurance policies Strong customer service and verbal communication Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft suite Knowledge of using Scheduling, EMR and practice management Versatile and team player Bilingual
