Associate Attorney-
Focus: Medical Malpractice Defense (85%) and Premises Liability (15%)
Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days home
About the Role:
* Manage a caseload of 15-17 medical malpractice and premises liability cases with minimal supervision
* Take and defend depositions, including with doctors and nurses
* Draft and prepare motions (including motions for summary judgment). MSJ writing samples required
* Participate in mediations alongside a partner
* Prepare for trials
* Minimum 3 years of litigation experience (medical malpractice defense is essential)
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of case files is critical
Billable Hours: 160 hours/month (1,920 annually)
Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000 (depending on experience, 3-5 years preferred)
Bonuses: Discretionary, typically reviewed at year-end
