We are hiring on behalf of a prestigious law firm located in Aventura, FL, and we're looking for a talented paralegal to join their team.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in managing complex cases and is well-versed in Federal court practices.


About the Firm: This highly respected law firm specializes in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice cases.
With a team of seasoned attorneys and dedicated support staff, the firm is known for its commitment to achieving justice for its clients.
As a paralegal, you'll work closely with the attorneys, including direct collaboration with the firm's senior leadership.


Job Title: Medical Malpractice Paralegal

Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 annually, including personal insurance and potential year-end bonuses

Location: Aventura, FL with a hybrid option (Remote 3 days per week)

Reports to: Partner of the firm

Core Responsibilities: Manage pre-litigation and litigation for a variety of medical malpractice and personal injury cases.
Prepare and file legal documents, particularly for Federal court cases.
Handle a complex caseload and assist attorneys in preparing for trial.
Conduct legal research, maintain case files, and liaise with clients.
Adapt to the evolving Federal practice environment in Florida.
Collaborate with office staff to support all aspects of case management.
Required Skills: Bilingual (Spanish) Extensive experience in Civil and Federal practice.
Proficiency in LEAP legal software or a strong ability to learn new systems quickly.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Skills: Background in insurance defense firms is highly valued.
Experience in both Plaintiff and Defense cases is a plus.
