Group has 19 clinic locations throughout San DiegoOphthalmology services are offered at 7 site locationsSRSMG is a large, multi-specialty group that offers patients convenient, coordinated & integrated careGroup provides patients a full range of services across 29 different specialties in medicineAll clinics have a lead RN, triage RN, LVNs and 1:1 Provider/MA ratio plus operations teamIntegrated EMR system allows for seamless communication among group PCP's & specialistsRequirements/Preferred Experience Must be board-eligible/board-certified physician in OphthalmologyCompletion of a Medical Retina Fellowship is required to join our Ophthalmology divisionComfortable administering Intravitreal injectionsPosition Details 4-day workweek schedule50% East County50% South BayAverage patient load is 20-25 patients/dayNew consults, Follow-Up, Post-Ops, Office based surgery/minor proceduresPractice will be 50% General Ophthalmology and 50% Medical RetinaGeneral call for the department (with sub-specialty back up in all areas) is taken 1 week at a time, approximately 4-5 weeks per year.User friendly work schedule with excellent support staff and collegial work environmentIf fellow, will be required to become board certified within first two years of employmentCompetitive salary with excellent benefits
