Medical Office Front Desk Representative

Job Description Love Family Healthcare, PLLC, is seeking a Medical Office Front Desk Representative for our Arlington location. The Medical Office Front Desk Representative will assist with patient registrations, schedule and confirm appointments and insurance information. The Medical Office Front Desk Representative will also receive and direct phone calls, accept payments for physician services, and greet patients and other visitors.
Job functions Respond to routine inquiries concerning practice services, hours of operations, and general questions regarding the practiceReceive and direct phone callsAssist with patient registration duties by collecting and verifying insurance cards and photocopying/scanning appropriate documentationVerify patient identity and demographics and enter changes into practice management systemDirect patient to appropriate waiting areaSchedule, confirm, and verify patient appointmentsArrange follow-up visits and referral appointmentsVerify patient insurance informationReceive, sort, and distribute mail to the appropriate departmentScan patient documents involving insurance information into the EMR systemDe-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and supportProvide clerical support to other departmentsCollaborate and work as a team with other departmentsPerform other duties as requested
