Wood County Hospital is accepting applications for an Occupational Health Medical Assistant or LPN in our Employer Services department. The Medical Assistant/LPN provides personal care and professional excellence by assisting with office clerical and clinical functions.
Job Duties: Collects patient vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and oxygen saturation.Assists the physician in medical procedures and medical treatment modalities.Collects and delivers specimens to the Laboratory.Performs other clinical activities within the scope of practice and competency of the medical assistant role.Assists with patient record preparation and filing.Performs insurance information reviews. Shift Details: Hours: Per Diem
Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Minimum Requirements: Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program.Minimum Certification:        
Registration (RMA) or Certification (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants,  the American Medical Technologists or another certifying or registering organization that is accredited by the International Organization for Standardization(ISO) or the National Center for Competency Testing(NCCT) required.BLS certification through the American Heart AssociationLPNPreferred Experience:
