Job DescriptionPrairie Family Medicine, of Praxis Health, is seeking a Medical Office Support professional with outstanding customer service skills.

In this role, you will: Greet, screen, and schedule patientsInput and manage patient information in electronic health recordsVerify patient insurance coverage and eligibilityPerform clerical duties related to clinical services and correspondenceHandle high volumes of reception tasks, including phone communication and message relayVerify and update patient information, supporting both patients and medical staffProtect patient information by ensuring confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA laws and regulationsMaintain and manage medical records in compliance with legal requirementsEnsure accurate scheduling for efficient use of provider and patient timeContribute to internal communication and office system managementAssist with office equipment care and perform medical receptionist duties as neededMaintain regular and punctual attendanceIdeal candidates will: Have a strong aptitude for learning and a genuine passion for serving othersThrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentExhibit outstanding customer service skills, exceptional organization, and meticulous attention to detailBenefit Highlights: Medical, Dental, Vision with In-Network & Custom Network discounts401(K) with discretionary employer matchPaid Time OffPay: Starts at $18.00 per hour

General Physical RequirementsManual dexterity for office machine operation including computer and calculator; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands for deliveries, or sitting for extended periods of time.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.Work is performed in an office environment.
