Responsibilities
• Greeting, registering, and scheduling patient appointments• Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits• Collecting co-payments and obtaining financial information for payment arrangements• Answering phone calls and providing information to patients• Obtaining complex financial information for payment plan agreements and coverage verification• Obtaining prior authorizations for office visits and/or testing• Entering charge entry data as required
Requirements
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook and Windows-based programs• Medical office and/or insurance experience preferred• Bi-lingual skills preferred
