Job Description Have a friendly and professional tone on the phone and when interacting with patients.
Answer the phones and schedule appointments.
Scan documents into the computer.
Verify insurances and check for referrals.
Submit prior authorizations for certain procedures.
Check patients in and out for their visit while verifying their demographic information.
Collect co-pays and balances from patients.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Reliable and prompt.
Computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) experience required.
Reliable source of transportation.
Must like to multi-task and be a team player!
Job Type: Full-time: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Pay range starting at $21/hr Experience: Minimum 1-year experience working in customer service.
Medical receptionist experience is a plus!
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
