The Medication Aide will be responsible for administering medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The ideal candidate will have a caring and compassionate attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Completion of a state-approved medication aide course.- Certification as a Medication Aide in South Carolina.- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration procedures accurately.Responsibilities:- Administer medications to residents according to the prescribed dosage and schedule.- Maintain accurate medication administration records.- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medications and report them to the nursing staff.- Assist with documentation and reporting related to medication administration.- Follow all safety protocols and procedures related to medication handling and administration.- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of residents.- Provide support and assistance to residents as needed in a professional and compassionate manner.#INDWS
