Medication Technician/Aide

Job Title: Medication Technician/aide (MNA) We are currently hiring a skilled Medication Technician/Aide to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for delivering medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Certified nursing assistant certification Medication aide certification Minimum 1 year of health care industry experience or 2 years experience as a medication aide Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology Major Duties and Responsibilities: Delivers routine daily oral, inhalation, and topical medications to residents under direct supervision Observes adverse drug reactions and reports problems to the nurse Records medication administration according to company policies and procedures Follows written or verbal instructions on managing medications Observes residents for changes and documents condition accordingly Performs tasks associated with medication administration, including vital signs and medication dose calculations Additional Tasks: Treats all residents with dignity and respect Promotes and protects residents' rights Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to facility policies and procedures Maintains confidentiality of protected health information Benefits Package: Competitive Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour Low-cost Health Insurance Free Life Insurance Paid Time Off Dental and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account Short and Long-term Disability Insurance Ancillary Insurance available (including accident, cancer, hospital & critical illness)
