Open DateDescriptionThe Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) in the Department of Medicine at the University of Washington is currently accepting online applications for up to 6 faculty positions at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor rank on the Clinical Practice track. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW's Faculty Code Section 24-34. Position FTE is negotiable. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2025, but specific start dates are negotiable, and select positions may be available immediately.
Only full-time positions (100% FTE) are eligible for H-1B and permanent residence sponsorship. Employer-based permanent residence sponsorship is offered in the Clinical Practice track.
The base salary range for this position will be: $16,250 - $22,489 per month ($195,000 - $269,868 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
Applicants must have a medical (MD or DO) degree (or foreign equivalent) and board certification in Internal Medicine (or foreign equivalent). Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Washington State Medical License.
In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign (non-U.S.) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
