Facilities Director

MUST HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN MENTAL HEALTH, SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND SUPERVISING HOUSE MANAGERS

Must be meticulous, detail-oriented Facilities Director to evaluate the needs of Citywide customers, make recommendations for new services, and suggest improvements to existing services. The Facilities Director responsibilities include advocating for the client's care, explaining the available options, helping to plan services, and keeping records of the services offered on an excel spreadsheet. The Service Coordinator Manager will help our client population with medical needs and access any services that they need.

To be successful as a Facilities Director, you should be service-oriented with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be able to deal with our clients with empathy and compassion.

Facilities Director Responsibilities:

· Assessing the service needs of clients and linking them to the appropriate resource providers.

· Work directly with the COO to complete important task and projects.

· Must be available to work after hours if an emergency arises.

· Document your daily activities in example, time at the house, activities at the house, noting the difference between your PRP work versus Director work.

· Manage the residential housing and House Managers.

· Making sure the house managers are in compliance with COMAR.

· Delegating responsibilities and duties from shift to shift.

· Facilitating programs and services, job training, and transportation.

· Developing a resource directory of local social service agencies and providers for easy access.

· Assisting clients with applications for benefits and entitlement programs and assisting

clients to live independently in their own homes.

· Conduct weekly meetings with the House Manager to monitor progress and work on areas of improvement.

· Available to work the floor and deal with any difficult situations that arise daily and support staff.

· Oversee all new resident intakes and consents for Citywide residential housing.

· Work directly with Clinical Staff regarding daily scheduling issues and specific treatment plans for residents.

· Conduct performance evaluations and write ups for House Managers.

· Ensure safety in all Citywide residents.

· Advocating for adequate, timely, and cost-effective services and responding to any issues

that occur during the delivery of services.

· Scheduling appointments for clients, answering phones and tracking clients' service records.

· Monitoring the services being provided and staying up to date on any services being introduced or discontinued.

· Evaluating the quality of all services and identifying areas that need improvements.

· Following up with clients regularly to assess and ensure their satisfaction.

· Responding to complaints and resolving issues or matching clients with better services

· Document car usage, beginning mileage and end mileage.

· Update spreadsheet weekly and prepared to discuss.

· Inspect house to prevent suicide and anything that might be dangerous or hazardous to clients.

Requirements:

· An associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, psychology, social work, or a related field, or five years of work experience.

· Excellent documenting skills.

· Strong work ethic and service skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Staying up to date with services, policies, and regulations.

· Strong record-keeping and analytical skills.

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

· Must be able to walk and stand for long period.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday in office 9am to 5pm On call for emergencies at the residential housing.
