One temporary hourly-intermittent work study student assistant position in Criminal Justice.
Start Date
Position available on or after September 16, 2024 and ending on or before May 23, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
Job Description/Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
File and maintain alphabetical, numerical, and subject filing systems, match protégées with mentors, develop and maintain list of protégées and potential student mentors,
Assist with the assessment of program impacts on protégées and mentors, collect and input end of semester survey data.
Serve as a liaison for schools within the Turlock Unified School District, and distribute, collect and organize mentoring related documents for each mentoring class.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Availability to work 12-14 hours per week.
Ability to file in alphabetical order.
Ability to follow instructions and communicate instructions to others.
Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
Ability to work independently, and demonstrates the ability to maintain professionalism and a good attitude.
Demonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality and dependability.
Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.
Salary Range
$16.00 per hour.

Criminal Background Clearance Notice
