As a Project Manager within our growing Construction team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks related to our energy transformation projects, including managing mid-to-long term project details and day-to-day site operations. You will manage the on-site project team in obtaining, evaluating, and coordinating all information needed to construct the energy efficiency project in accordance with the contract documents and to assure that the work meets all safety standards. Success in this position requires a dynamic individual with high energy, motivation, and an acute passion for implementing sustainable energy solutions for the next generation of buildings and facilities. Location: Our client is located in Denver, CO area. Applicants must reside in a commutable distance to our client location area or be willing to relocate for this opportunity. When the opportunity presents, remote work is possible. Future projects would likely require the ability to travel or relocate to Northern VA, Washington DC, West Virginia, Memphis, TN, and potentially Austin, TX.
Responsibilities will include a wide variety of tasks related, including: Supervise and provide oversight for Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractor personnelOversee implementation of a comprehensive set of Energy Conservation MeasuresEnsure subcontractor compliance with CEG and site-specific safety standards, codes, regulations, and assist with the implementation of the site safety programManage client relationships and ensure customer satisfactionPrepare and manage project schedules, bid processes and subcontract negotiationsManage project in accordance with the budgetReview and approve expenditures and subcontractor draw requestsAssist with identifying unknown risks, managing risk impact and how they will be addressed and mitigatedOversee on-site safety and quality control programsDrive the technical due diligence through the implementation phase by identifying known risks (i.e., technical, construction, price, schedule, environmental, warranties, performance guarantees, etc.) and managing the impact of different risksImplement measurement based monitoring and verification plans and protocols, commissioning protocols, and associated post implementation operations & maintenance protocolsAssist with project and business development responsibilities during development and implementation Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree, specifically in engineering or construction management or equivalent of 15+years experienceMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management or project engineering in building construction and energy systems i.e. HVAC, controls, site work, central utilities, electrical, and M&PExperience and competency with Project Management Software (MS Project, Primavera, etc.)Ability to obtain a security clearance We seek talented individuals who possess the following: Passion for energy efficiency, alternative energy, and sustainabilityStrong project management, team leadership, and construction management skillsProven experience in energy systems project implementation, including performance contracts, is preferredAbility to flex to irregular work hours during implementationAbility to provide project management to a team of superintendents and subcontractorsDemonstrated ability to function in high performing, multi-disciplinary teams that provide reliable customer satisfactionAbility to anticipate challenges and proactively resolve themKnowledge and experience with safety and quality control standards and proceduresExperience and competency in project commissioning activities and project controls (logs, reports, etc.)Proven aptitude along with strong written and verbal communication skillsSelf-directed personality with a commitment to excellenceWillingness to travel 80% of the time or relocate.OSHA-30 certification preferredSeeking US Citizens with ability to obtain security clearance Join Our Team If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for quality and sustainability, we want to hear from you. Wages + Salary The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,999 annually. CEG Solutions LLC takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
Please note that this is a general estimate and does not incorporate any adjustments for geographic location. Typically, starting salaries are determined based on individual qualifications and experience, and may fall below the top end of the range.
In addition to your salary, you may qualify for our annual bonus program. This program is discretionary and awards, if any, are based on your performance as well as the company's overall success.
Physical Demands and Work Environment Performance of the job responsibilities will require the ability to (1) use tools and operate equipment in the field, (2) ascend/descend both exterior and interior ladders/stairs, and (3) move safely around an area under construction. The employee must also be able to easily communicate with clients, stakeholders, and other employees and observe various pieces of equipment in the field. The employee must occasionally move and/or transport up to 75 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works at the construction work site where the employee where risk of moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud. Personal protection equipment and required safety training will be provided by the employer.
