MEP Engineer– Holland, Michigan DISHER is currently partnering with an architecture and engineering firm that specializes in the food and beverage industry and is looking for an MEP Engineer to join their team in Holland, Michigan. In this role, you will work on entire systems and build direct relationships with the clients.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead and mentor other engineers.

\n What you will get to do:Design and engineer electrical power distribution systems, lighting, lighting controls and fire alarmsDevelop technical specifications for electrical systemsPerform power flow, short circuit, arc flash and lighting luminaire calculations for manufacturing facilities in the food and beverage industryEngineer mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems with a particular focus on Ammonia Refrigeration systems design, regulatory compliance, and specificationAttend and/or direct weekly and monthly meetings with clients and contractorsMonitor work as per specification with national standard codesTravel to project sites across the US to collect, measure data and inspect on-going construction for compliance with design drawings and specificationsPeriodically travel two weeks per month may be requiredProduce technical plans, specifications, drawings and 3d models using Autodesk Revit for multiple projects What will make you successful:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related requiredDemonstrated working or theoretical knowledge in relevant technical / engineering terminology and 3D modeling Domestic travel up to 50% of time to undetermined project sites
