Job Title: Merchandiser

Capitol Wright Distributing LLC is hiring for Merchandiser Positions (also called a Put Up Merchandiser / Weekend Merchandiser / Sales Merchandiser / Weekend Merchandiser - Part Time / Merchandiser). This position reports the the Merchandizing Manager and the Merchandizing Supervisor.
Purpose: Responsible for organizing, stocking, rotating products and building displays in assigned retail accounts.
Responsibilities: Support the Sales Department through safe and efficient product placement and display building. Accurately stock and rotate products onto shelves from backroom inventories as required. Communicate all retail opportunities/issues to manager and/or retail account representative. Establish and maintain a professional rapport with retail personnel, based on trustworthiness, respect, communication and a high level of customer service. Perform other duties as assigned. Organize, stock and remove any damaged or outdated products (beer and non-alcoholic beverages) in Grocery Stores. Meet or exceed the minimum requirements for vehicle compliance and maintain auto insurance coverage at least to the minimum amount specified by the Motus system and state law. Adhere to all Federal, State, Company and Departmental policies, procedures and set standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills/Qualifications: Requirements include, must be at least 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements, and must have six (6) months of work experience (for example, working in a distribution warehouse environment or other positions which require continuous heavy lifting.) Must have reliable automobile transportation. Working knowledge of electronic devices such as cell phones and printers. Ability to operate mechanical equipment such as a motorized pallet jack. The employee must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 165 lbs. when handling keg products. Physical Demands of job include: standing, pushing and pulling frequently, walking and lifting constantly, and sitting, standing, kneeling and reaching above shoulders occasionally. Preferred: beverage industry experience and prior customer service experience. Policies and Procedures: Dress and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner.
