• Manages the daily operations of the accounting team supporting D&V, PLADS, and Tier One; leads, motivates and coaches employees; gathers and analyzes data and reports that pertain to the overall operation of the department and completes reports summarizing activities and trends.
• Ensures an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close; ensures the timely reporting of all monthly financial information; supports budget and forecasting activities.
• Coordinates and oversees the preparation of monthly reconciliations of various balance sheet and income statement accounts in the general ledger and supporting sub ledgers.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with business partners; stays abreast of current trends and regulatory changes in the industry.
• Develops solutions and implements actions to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction; reviews processes and procedures to streamline activities.
• Coordinates and monitors training efforts to ensure the necessary education tools are provided to department employees.
• Establishes and enforces environment of strong process controls and documentation (including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls); adhere to accounting policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as required.
Total Rewards: This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is $83,000 to $193,000. In addition to the base salary, we offer an array of benefits to meet your needs including medical, dental, and vision coverage, prescription drug coverage, health care flexible spending, dependent care flexible spending, Aflac supplemental policies, 401(k) plans, annual bonuses, and an opportunity to purchase company stock.
