To continue to meet our customer's mission critical needs, PDC is seeking Micro Assemblers to join our respected and valued team.
This position is 100% onsite in our Bohemia, NY corporate headquarters. Day shift: 7am - 3pm; 7:30am - 3:30pm or 8am - 4pm (45 minute flexible schedule) The compensation for this role is $20/hr to $26/hr. Responsibilities: Perform a variety of complex assembly operations under a microscope, with little or no supervision.Perform die bonding, wire bonding, header assembly or other operations of comparable difficulty.Use small hand tools and microscope.Read and interpret complex assembly drawings and other documents to determine sequence of operation and proper assembly procedures.Detailed knowledge of automatic or manual wire bonding and die bonding machines if applicable.Read and follow operational sheets.Secondary Duties: Work in a team environment.Cross train.Determine priorities with given resources.Job Qualifications - Education/Experience: Approximately 3 years micro assembly or related experience.Good eyesight and manual dexterity.Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings.Power Device Corporation provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
