As a Microbiologist, you will be:
Applying expertise in quality assurance and microbiology to the facility manufacturing processes and microbiology lab to result in conformance to FDA-Cosmetic guidelines and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Providing assistance in the development and implementation of quality systems, processes and procedures consistent to meet FDA regulatory and corporate guidelines.
Responsible for being part of a high-performance team and is accountable to perform the required tasks assigned to this position.
Responsible for reading out finished product, water, and raw materials, additional micro testing if needed, and releasing of finished product in SAP.
Providing expertise in conducting microbiological testing and release of finished products, raw materials, manufacturing processes and personnel.
Providing technical expertise in practicing methods and means for maintaining sanitary manufacturing equipment and assisting in development of effective and innovating microbiological testing.
Developing knowledge and skills to be recognized for microbiological expertise.
Coaching team members and customers regarding statistics, process control and preventing quality management for continuous improvement in both existing and emerging manufacturing sites.
Maintaining security and documentation to ensure the retrieval of data and protection of proprietary information.
Assisting and recommending the development, implementation, and validation of product quality testing procedures.
Assisting in the development an informational database for identifying microorganisms with significance to product quality.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor degree in Microbiology/Bacteriology/Natural Physical Sciences.
ETQ experience is preferred.
SAP experience Preferred. Office proficiency required.
Previously worked in a CPG field is preferred.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
