As a member of the technical team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing critical solutions for data governance, compliance, and risk management for our clients.
This includes activities such as contributing to key data governance activities such as enabling data security, ensuring regulatory compliance, and minimizing risks across the client's technology landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into Microsoft Purview solutions.Implement comprehensive data governance strategies, including data classification, labeling (sensitivity labels), retention policies, protection mechanisms, data audit, communication compliance, compliance manager, data lifecycle management, and eDiscovery.Utilize Microsoft Purview components such as Data Catalog, Data Estate Insights, Data Map, Data Policies, Data Sharing, and Data Security measures within Microsoft Purview.Ensure Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Barriers, Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management are effectively configured and monitored.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and compliance officers.Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS: 3-5 years experience designing and implementing data governance solutions using Microsoft Purview.Undergraduate degree in a related field or demonstrated equivalent experience.Experience implementing Data Governance Solutions across the following:Familiarity with data classification, labeling, and retention policies.Exposure to data security practices, including DLP and risk management.Proficiency in Microsoft Purview components (Data Catalog, Data Estate Insights, etc.
).Knowledge of compliance tools such as Compliance Manager.Understanding of eDiscovery and records management.Proven track record of working smartly and effectively to successfully manage workstreams in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines.High degree of energy, motivation, grit, and a "roll up your sleeves" mentality.Innovative problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to turn ideas into action in pursuit of personal, team, and firm growth targets.A high degree of integrity, professionalism, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to exercise sound business judgment under pressure.Exceptional and verifiable strength in written and oral communication.Experience in consulting or financial services sector preferred.Ability to work outside of normal business hours, as required.Location preference: US or Canada.
Interview process will include a competency test of abilities.
