Mid-Level Corporate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago is seeking a Mid-level Corporate Attorney with 4-8 years of experience for its Corporate business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and negotiating various corporate and transactional documents, including entity formation and governance documents, operating agreements, supply agreements, purchase agreements, compliance documents, and merger and acquisition documents. They will interact with clients, representing them in negotiations for business transactions of all types. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a team environment are essential. Strong academic credentials are also required.
Duties: Prepare and negotiate a wide range of corporate and transactional documents, including entity formation and governance documents, operating agreements, supply agreements, purchase agreements, compliance documents, and merger and acquisition documents.Represent clients in negotiations for various business transactions, ensuring their interests are protected.Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all legal documents and transactions.Interact effectively with clients, providing legal advice and guidance on corporate and transactional matters.Collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders in a team-oriented environment to achieve client objectives.Conduct legal research and analysis as needed to support client matters.Stay updated on developments in corporate law and industry trends.Requirements: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Illinois.4-8 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on transactional matters.Strong knowledge of corporate and transactional law principles and practices.Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to represent clients effectively in business transactions.Detail-oriented with a solid work ethic and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Demonstrated commitment to professionalism and client service.
