Software Engineer/Front End DeveloperWhy This is an Exciting Role: Join Boeing Intelligence & Analytics as a Software Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing secure cloud-based applications. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, gather user insights, and lead efforts to redesign and optimize applications for improved user experience and workflow efficiency.

Required Education and Years of Experience: 9+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent7+ years of professional experience with a Master's degree or equivalent5+ years of professional experience with a PhD or equivalentAdditional experience will be considered in lieu of a degreeRequired Qualifications: Proficiency in Linux/Unix environmentsStrong background in object-oriented programming languagesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExceptional problem-solving abilities in ambiguous scenariosSelf-starter with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologiesDesired Qualifications: Experience with programming languages such as Ruby, Java, or PythonExperience with deploying secure web applications on a Linux infrastructureExperience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShiftExperience developing micro-services and APIsImplement APIs based on architectural framework and guidelinesKnowledge of code development, deployment practices, and version controlExposure to cloud architectures (e.g., AWS EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Elastic Search)Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum) using continuous integration and delivery toolsAbility to capture user issues and feedbackAbility to create sustainable processesTelework/Remote Availability: Telework available
