Mid-Level Software Engineer [D.24.0151]

Description: You will be a member of the team supporting data engineering, analysis, and automation efforts. You will design, develop, and integrate solutions involving the analysis of large data sets to establish mission cognizance and deliver mission-centric insights. The customer is looking for a full-time employee (FTE) with development knowledge or experience in programming languages such as Java and Python, with the ability to acquire new skills as needed.
Responsibilities: Find mission intelligence data and integrate it into an existing platform.Develop analytics to combine, normalize, and enrich large data sets.Design and implement data workflows to convert and normalize data.Augment the platform with new tools or technologies.Create visualizations and dashboards using Kibana or other metric tools.Elicit requirements from stakeholders.Skills Requirements: Knowledge of software development in Java or Python.Experience with data engineering platforms like Apache NiFi and AirFlow.Familiarity with Git for software version control.Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) or similar wiki/requirements tools.Nice to Haves: Experience with Elastic products for data storage, search, presentation (Elasticsearch, Kibana).Knowledge of Front-End UX development.Knowledge of map-reduce analytic environments (e.g., Hadoop, GM, GMLearn).Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.Experience with production CNO (Computer Network Operations) capabilities and operations.Years of Experience (YOE) Requirement: 8 years, Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 additional years in place of a Bachelor's degree.
