During the ******** school year, RMP is driving after five big goals: 85% Staff Retention100% of campuses going green & ECE-2nd grade students growing an average of 1.25 years in math and reading100% of seniors accepted into college40% of 3rd-8th grade students meet their Accelerated Reader millionaire goalRMP meets its network enrollment goalRole Mission High School Early Literacy Interventionists should be prepared to work with students in grades 9th-12th who require additional support to meet their academic, social, and emotional needs and achieve grade-level proficiency. They will primarily focus on literacy intervention for scholars reading below a 6th grade reading level.  In this role,  you will… Teach daily literacy interventions in individual and small group settings, providing instruction based on scholar needsProgress monitor student data, document progress, and enter data into a centralized data management systemAnalyze scholar data and use it to set individual goals, create intervention groups and instructional plans, and adjust instruction Collaborate with general education teachers, special education teachers, service providers, school leaders, students, and families to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of each learnerLead Student Care Plan meetings for students requiring additional supportThere may be a requirement to work with students before or after regular school hours in this role. Total work hours will be adjusted accordingly.Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required: Education Requirements:  3 years of full-time K-12 lead teaching experience that involves literacy instruction (ex. homeroom teacher, literacy teacher, interventionist, or special education teacher)During the application process, you will need to provide student data demonstrating that you have led students to 1.5 years of reading growth in a single school year and/or high levels of mastery on state tests or standards-based assessmentsBe able to provide an official transcript demonstrating graduation from an undergraduate institutionCO teaching license OR Out-of-State teaching license with the ability to transfer licensure to COPass a background check & demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States Preferred: Experience implementing a literacy intervention program with fidelity (e.g. Wilson Reading system)Specialized training in research-based literacy intervention (e.g. Orton-Gillingham)Experience with tiered instruction as a dedicated literacy interventionist in an elementary schoolReading specialist endorsement, Special Education endorsement, and/or CLDE endorsement on an active CO teaching licenseCompletion of CDE READ Act training and/or CDE Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) 45 contact hoursExperience working with linguistically and culturally diverse students and familiesBilingual English & Spanish or English & ArabicSalary  This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with a salary range of $60,000 - $89,000.
