Join Qualdoc LLC and support a leading industrial manufacturer in Richmond, VA. This is a 3-month contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on your performance and the company's needs.

Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality welding of metal and steel parts using MIG welding equipment.Fabricate based on blueprints and shop drawings, using tools like straight edges, combination squares, and rulers.Use torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and basic hand tools to ensure precision and quality.Operate material handling equipment, including overhead cranes and hoists, for efficient movement and storage of materials.Conduct thorough inspections of workpieces to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.Prep and finish metal components through grinding or sanding. What You Need to Succeed:Experience & Education: High School Diploma or GED and 3.5-5 years of recent MIG welding experience in manufacturing.Technical Skills: Proficient in reading shop drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents. Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude.Physical Ability: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and wearing the required personal protective equipment.Bonus Skills: TIG welding experience and familiarity with ERP systems (JD Edwards) are a plus.
