ERMis hiring multiple consultingMine Exploration GeologistsThe successful candidate will work on a remote lithium mine exploration project site located in aremote part of New England.This is a full-time (40hours plus OT), limited-term opportunity with a duration of 6 months, extendable.RESPONSIBILITIES:Collection of field geologic data to support the development of geologic maps, conceptual geologic and hydrogeologic models, and a resource estimate.Oversee bedrock drilling and field-testing via multiple drilling methods (i.e. coring, RC drilling, and sonic) in remote site locations.Coordinate and direct drilling, surveying, and laboratory services.Communicate with subcontractors, project management, and client during the implementation of field activities.Assist in data interpretation and preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, or related discipline strongly preferred.2-5 years of experience as a field geologist, experience working on mine exploration projects is a plus.Experience with geologic mapping, geotechnical and geophysical data collection, sample collection of laboratory analysis, experience using handheld X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyzers a plus.Experience with logging soil/rock cores, Reverse Circulation Drilling (RC Drilling).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.Valid driver's license and a good driving record.Who We Are:As the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world's leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainability challenges and unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.At ERM we know that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our company a great place to build a career.
