The NorthRock Ministry Internship is designed to develop applicants in the skills and knowledge necessary for full-time ministry work. You will have the opportunity to develop under some of the best leaders in ministry through a team environment that encourages personal and professional growth. We're looking for individuals who: Have served consistently in the church for a minimum of 6 months.Have secondary education and/or work experience equivalent.Can work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.Believe they have a vocational call of ministry on their lives.Are 18-30 years old. You will be required to: Commit to the Internship for 12 months.Hold a minimum of 20 hours per week (weekends included) at NorthRock.Be onsite Tuesdays from 7am-3pm.Complete Discover Now. You will be challenged by: Developing your leadership skills and taking your God-given talent to the next level. Accomplishing tasks and developing ideas to help strengthen different areas of ministry. Leading a small group and/or leading a Rockstar team. Working collaboratively with volunteers and staff members. Expanding your developmental and logistical knowledge of leadership and operations Meeting with a supervisor directing your professional development. Being evaluated and coached quarterly. Resident selection will be determined by: Experience in your desired area and interest in ministry Enrollment/Employment status Team chemistry as demonstrated by the active role held in a particular area of ministry Reliability and commitment shown through previous interactions with supervisors and staff Desired future ministry goals We believe that this intentional leadership training experience will help prepare you for a lifetime of ministry.
