*Note: This is a subsidized employment position available through Workforce Solutions Capital Area. All candidates will be considered after program eligibility is confirmed.* Position: Mission Services Data Intern
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00am – 5:00 pm
The Mission Data Intern will be responsible for supporting data efforts across the mission departments of Goodwill Central Texas. The Mission Data Intern will support the mission Data Analyst while exploring various uses for data analytics in the Nonprofit sector. In addition to data entry, data management, and data reporting related tasks the data intern will be responsible for creating resource materials to support Workforce Advancement staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently and accurately document CaseWorthy fields, requirements, and process flows with appropriate associated details as needed.
2. Actively participate in and contribute to all CaseWorthy vendor meetings.
3. Complete Microsoft's Modern Analyst in a Day and Dashboard in a Day Trainings and apply learned skills in day-to-day work.
4. Create, implement, and maintain a process for auditing CaseWorthy Client records to reduce duplication.
5. Manage existing Bi-weekly Placement Dashboard data population process.
6. Design and produce end-user resource materials related for key software applications.
7. Participate in all IT Automation Team meetings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be 18 years of age
2. Possess high school diploma or GED
3. Must be flexible in order to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands; ability to work under tight deadlines and plan, organize and carry out multiple, detailed tasks.
4. Exhibit respect for diversity of thought and have experience to advance it in teams/organization.
5. Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
6. Knowledge of Goodwill services.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other Windows based software applications.
2. Current or recent experience working with databases.
3. Knowledge of data analytics and its applications in service delivery.
