This is an excellent opportunity for a DVM who loves small animal medicine, has wonderful communication skills, and would love to learn our thoughtful approach to medicine, while also teaching our 3 doctors the new, modern techniques.

Guidance from a talented Medical Advisory Board Structured mentorship program (for early career doctors or those interested in serving as a mentor) Dentistry training courtesy of a board-certified dental specialist Scheduling needs: This is a full-time or part-time role, and we will work with you to establish a schedule that makes sense for your work/life balance. Currently, we are open Monday – Saturday, and would happily welcome a doctor who is open to half-day Saturday coverage (9am-3pm). We typically have 2-3 doctor days and are walk-in-based, except for scheduled surgery, boarding, and some diagnostics. Our doctors take patients from 8am-noon and 2-6pm on weekdays, with our last walk-ins taken at 11:30am and 5:30 pm. We're happy to accommodate NO on-call or afterhour emergency responsibilities in this role.

Founded more than 45 years ago, our clinic is now conveniently located off of Guthrie Drive, about 15 miles from downtown Memphis, TN. The focus of our practice is canine and feline medicine, however, we'll also see pocket pets on occasion. Our clinic is walk-in based, and our 3-doctors' caseload is predominantly composed of spays/neuters, and a fair amount of enucleations, laparotomies, and dentistry.
