Job Description Summary:
The Simulation group is responsible for designing, developing, validating, and maintaining dynamic simulations and infrastructure for rapid assessment, integration, and test of complex systems.
Simulation applications range from high-level behavioral simulations for visualization and evaluation of system concepts to high-fidelity real-time simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop infrastructure to support development, integration, test, and sustainment of systems and software.

The Simulation group is seeking an intern who could help with developing features for our in-house C++ real-time simulation framework or who could be embedded with a program developing a simulation of a vehicle.

Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhancement engineering solutions for challenging problems.Implement, test, perform analysis, and provide documentation support.Generate and present test reports including plots, tables, evaluation criteria, and conclusions from data collected and analyzed throughout the test process.Complete assignments designed to develop a practical knowledge of processes, procedures, equipment, facilities, and systems as well as their interrelationships within engineering disciplines.Performs other duties as assigned. Program Requirements Enrolled in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program required.There is flexibility regarding hours and program duration based on applicant's school schedule and availability. Skills/Abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills.Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.Ability to adapt to ever-changing environments, risks, and vulnerabilities.Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Qualifications:
Progress towards an Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant degreeFamiliarity with object oriented software development, preferably C++ or PythonFamiliarity with creating and delivering presentations of engineering designsBasic knowledge of dynamics and linear algebra a plus
