Where You Fit In
We're looking for a data-driven, analytic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team to implement program monitoring and evaluation activities and support evidence-based decision-making.
As a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, you will work in collaboration with HealthCorps management and field staff to conduct process and impact evaluations.
You will develop methods and lead initiatives to obtain, organize, analyze, and visualize program and participant data- including current and historic program activities, participant impact, and stakeholder satisfaction.
This includes training and supporting the primary data collectors and directly engaging with program stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with HealthCorps teams to align M&E activities with organizational goals and understand program implementation Design and implement evaluations to assess program effectiveness and impact on participants Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of program and participant data Develop evaluation frameworks, define indicators, and select data collection methods What you will do: Improve, maintain, and analyze HealthCorps' database for programmatic reporting to partners and funders Collaborate with management, community organizations, and funders to provide necessary process and outcome results Contribute to the development of surveys and methodology to assess HealthCorps' impact on student and staff behavior, happiness, self-efficacy, and knowledge Contribute qualitative and quantitative data and program background information to grant proposal development Directly support and technically assist Program Coordinators, Supervisors, Managers, and Directors on the implementation of HealthCorps evaluation and other key studies, as well as how to access and use available data to strengthen program impact.
Provide bi-annual and as-needed professional development training on program evaluation processes and findings Collaborate with the management team to utilize evaluation results in program decision-making Share evaluation findings in conjunction with other public health data with the public and scientific communities Contribute to special research projects, as needed Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public health, social sciences, education, or related field, OR Bachelor's Degree and equivalent experience Experience working to monitor and evaluate program data; experience with school-based programs a plus Experience in assessment, planning, evaluation or institutional research (or equivalent combination of education or experience) Intermediate to Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Experience querying and creating visualizations of data Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
Experience gained during undergraduate studies will be considered if it was consecutive and related to the field Skillset: Strong command of how to interpret research data Understanding of health disparities, social determinants of health, and ethical research practices Understanding of program evaluation, biostatistics, and epidemiology methods and principles Ability to effectively and respectfully communicate, collaborate and connect with people with various backgrounds, identities, positions, and experiences Experience working in and with racially, ethnically and socioeconomically marginalized communities Commitment to raising one's cultural consciousness and challenging oppressive practices on an interpersonal and institutional level Proven track record of being a self-starter, organized, and detail-oriented Maintain a growth mindset, striving to improve professionally and personally Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Additional Position Details
This is a full-time, salaried position and you will be offered a comprehensive benefits package.
You will be a remote employee.
The position may require some weekend or evening hours.
Anticipate occasional overnight travel throughout the year.
