About This Role:

We are excited to welcome a detail-oriented and proactive Mortgage Administrative Assistant to our Mortgage Lending Department.
Reporting to the Mortgage Lending Manager, this position provides vital administrative support to both the Mortgage Lending Servicing and Originations Teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring that our lending processes run smoothly and efficiently, while also contributing to our commitment to exceptional member service.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Mortgage Lending Servicing Team with semi-annual escrow analysis, tax disbursement, HMDA record maintenance, and re-conveyance of paid-off loans.Maintain member hazard and flood insurance records and assist with Fannie Mae-related tasks, MERS eRegistrations, and eNote transfers to investors.Support the Mortgage Lending Originations Team by assisting loan originators with requests, gathering financial information, ordering appraisals, and ensuring loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines.Answer mortgage-related calls and maintain accurate loan records across mortgage systems.Prepare and maintain various reports while meeting deadlines for mortgage-related functions and service standards to provide exceptional service to our members. Previous experience in a financial institution or lending environment is a plus, but we welcome candidates with a strong aptitude for learning and using technology.

What You Bring: High school diploma or equivalent required; previous customer service, data entry, and administrative experience preferred.Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally.Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to learn mortgage-related software systems.A positive, cooperative attitude and commitment to providing high-quality member service.Must be able to maintain an active notary license and be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator per the S.A.F.E.
