5 days/ week on site in Dallas, TX ( 1603 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, Dallas, TX 75234 ) Client is a well known mid sized Bank 12+ month contract (with potential for extension or hire in future) 1-3 yrs experience required ( need skills in MS Office, especially Excel ) Mortgage Banking or financial institution experience a huge plus $15/hr W2 Qualifications 1+ year experience in mortgage banking or financial services environment MS Office programs, especially Excel Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations Excellent written skills for correspondence, ability to write routine reports and business correspondence HS Diploma/GED Job Description/ Responsibilities: Mortgage Warehouse Specialist is responsible for file-level activity related to individual loan fundings, including file review, wire requests, and customer communication Serve as primary day-to-day contact for customer inquiries Confirm receipt of required documents for each advance Verify accuracy of submitted data against supporting documents Execute fraud check, OFAC inquiry or other applicable processes for bank transactions Collect counter-signatures from designated officer(s) Confirm transmission of wires as necessary Back up collateral specialist functions, when needed Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training
