5 days/ week on site in Dallas, TX ( 1603 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, Dallas, TX 75234 )Client is a well known mid sized Bank12+ month contract (with potential for extension or hire in future)1-3 yrs experience required ( need skills in MS Office, especially Excel )Mortgage Banking or financial institution experience a huge plus$15/hr W2 Qualifications 1+ year experience in mortgage banking or financial services environmentMS Office programs, especially ExcelAbility to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulationsExcellent written skills for correspondence, ability to write routine reports and business correspondenceHS Diploma/GED Job Description/ Responsibilities: Mortgage Warehouse Specialist is responsible for file-level activity related to individual loan fundings, including file review, wire requests, and customer communicationServe as primary day-to-day contact for customer inquiriesConfirm receipt of required documents for each advanceVerify accuracy of submitted data against supporting documentsExecute fraud check, OFAC inquiry or other applicable processes for bank transactionsCollect counter-signatures from designated officer(s)Confirm transmission of wires as necessaryBack up collateral specialist functions, when neededEnsures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training
